This year marks my graduation from High School and it was very bitter-sweet. The year feels like it went by way too fast but I have so many special memories to take away from it.
It is exciting to begin a new chapter in my life but at the same time it is sad to know that all my friends will be taking different journeys in their lives and this means we won’t be together like we once were. I have friends who are off to explore the world and others heading away to university in other cities.
My grad year was filled with lots of good times and hours of laughter and fun. It was so great to hit the stage for the final grad ceremony and to be recognized for the hard work we have accomplished. I will miss many of the teachers that helped us to be successful and most of all I will my advanced dance academy teacher and fellow students. I plan to come back in the fall and help with some of the dance classes though – so won’t be leaving it altogether.
My plans are to start school in the fall working towards my aspirations to become a nurse. I also start volunteering at the hospital next week and it will be good to help me get familiar with the hospital environment while giving back to my community at the same time. I am excited to get started!
My parents threw a grad party for me and my sister and brother – since my sister is moving on to high school and my brother graduated college.
On to the next chapter of my life and what could be more exciting that to be starting it by entering into the Miss Teenage Canada National Pageant!! I can’t wait!! So excited and nervous all at the same time for what lies ahead. Three Cheers for the Grads of 2015!
